How long does it take to complete your course?
That all depends on you! This course is completely customizable to your pace and your schedule. The intense track is 10 weeks (not including the 3 months of critique afterwards), while some students choose to take up to a year to finish their course!
Do I need to be a musical genius? I enjoy music but I don't have a great voice or know how to play an instrument?
Absolutely not. The only way I can guarantee a 100% success rate is because I have develeoped a method of teaching where everything is divided up into practical steps. So as long as you take good notes and practice, you will be totally fine, even if you are tone deaf! The only requirement is to love what you are doing 🙂
How expensive is the equipment I need to buy to open a recording studio?
This is a great question. And also a hard question to answer. There are many budget home studios out there, as well as studios which cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, and everything in between! It is something we discuss in our first lesson and the short answer is- we can build a studio on any budget. The only non-negotiables are firstly, a good computer (I can help you figure out what that means) and secondly, the full version of Cubase Pro.
What program do you use? Do I need the same DAW as you?
I use Cubase Pro. Over the years I have tried out many differents DAW’s (recording programs) and I have found Cubase Pro to simply be the best. I have many reasons and would love to share them all with you on our first phone call! While you can choose to learn on a different DAW, I don’t recommend it for the simple reason that I will teach you many shortcuts and tricks in Cubase Pro, it would be a shame to not maximize all that I have to teach you.
How do I know if this course is for me?
Another great question! For sure, everyone is different and different courses are better suited for different people. But what makes this course unique is that it is 100% one-on-one and therefore, tailor made for YOU! In this course, you are the boss, I am just your guide to make sure you reach your goals!
